Unleashed é uma banda de Death Metal formada em 1989 na Suécia.São uma das melhores da "velha escola" Swedish Death Metal.Eles mantiveram a mesma formação até o lançamento do Warrior em 1995.A banda foi formada por Johnny Hedlund depois de sua partida da banda Niilista (atualmente Entombed ),ele saiu porque queria ser a voz principal,então formou o Unleashed.Seu primeiro álbum é considerado por muitos como o melhor da banda e um dos pilares da cena Death Metal sueco.É considerada pioneira em relação a letras com temática escandinava e Viking.Num contexto geral,a banda se revela bem amadurecida e com muita criatividade nos solos.

Suécia é a terra das grandes bandas de Death Metal, não tem pra nenhum outro país. Sou fá de bandas como Entombed, Dismember, Unleashed, Entrails, grandes nomes do metal sueco.
